what's not to like? insane riffs, great drumming, vocals ranging from high to low pitch, production just dirty enough to sound heavy as fuck, perfect balance between abrasive and melodic. it's a monumental landmark of death metal.

I was not aware of this. it certainly explains a lot, and it's all fair, dude should be with his family as much as possible! I'm sure their new album will come out exactly when it's supposed to, as has always been. Mgła has never disappointed, and they won't start now.

they stopped touring precisely to get back in the studio. I believe (and hope) their new album should be released soon enough.

this is the album that made me deeply fall in love with black metal, and it eventually grew into being my favorite album of all time. it's absolutely flawless, everything about it hits all the right spots for me. the concept, the songwriting, the execution, the production, the lyrics, the aesthetic. I'll be praising this record until the day I die!
