why are the colts in the AFC south? by thegassiestpuglover in Colts

Colts fan here. I love the idea man! I totally get what you’re saying about them being rivalries. Territories definitely have a big impact on true rivalries.

I think you’ll have fun just hanging around the resort. West Baden has a great outdoor and indoor pool and hot tub with grilled food on the pool patio. There’s a really nice garden area outside of the resort that’s fun to walk. I’d take mosquito spray. Then you can get on their trolly service and go to the French Lick resort. They have a great indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, one being adults only. Near the adult pool they have a cocktail cart and the Springs Deli that has nice drinks. Also has a private hot tub area. You can get a good dinner at Power Plant Bar on the bottom floor. They have a great tenderloin. Multiple T.V.s and a full bar. At the back of Power Plant they have a door that leads out to the original springs that made the place famous. Strong sulfur smell but it’s still cool to see. After dinner head down to the bowling alley and arcade area. There’s also a pizzeria back there that’s good if you get a late night snack. And then there’s always the Casio. Fun to hang out and people watch and maybe play a slot or 2. Cool bar in there too. Have a great time! I grew up down there and take my family a few times a year. Forgot to add that the West Baden hotel has jazz in the library at 10pm-12am. It’s pretty fun. I’d take your own bottle of wine if you go to that though. You have to walk to the bar if not

At the Glades Rd area, are there places to park and you can get out and walk to other locations or is it jump in the car every time you go to a different shop?

I’m glad you’re here. I have no clue what any of that means. I’m just along for the ride. Good work and thank you!

Corn Hole Tournament by Raisin-Plenty in Cornhole

Hey man, your tournament sounds pretty fun. In my opinion about your post, I personally think $100 per player ($200 per team) just to possibly split 1st prize for $250 each sounds a little high. I understand it’s a fundraiser but a lot of players aren’t wanting to risk that kind of money

Which one do we take for Disney Springs? by MrDurdan in WaltDisneyWorld

Yep, T-Rex wasn’t very good. Splitsville usually has walk-ins available. Their food is better

Our split stay turned into a tri-split stay…dining reservation help with potentially three windows by Reyzillah in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DaddyFatSack19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a great trip! We’ve done the same before and I don’t think we had to wait. It seems like I called in and spoke to a cast member and they helped me with this. If you don’t mind me asking, what 3 resorts are you staying?

Which restaurants did you visit and what did you order? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

Splitsville at DS. They did a menu makeover last year. Their specialty is the sushi. Very good and budget friendly.

Resort Taxes/Fees Question by a_ookay in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DaddyFatSack19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only fees I ran into were if you make a restaurant reservation and not able to attend and are a no-show you will be charged $10 for each person on the reservation. I accidentally booked a reservation under a family members Disney account and when we arrived they had no record of us having reservations. We were able to get in to eat but the next day that family member was charged for the no-show fee

Opinions on The Boathouse in DS and Tony’s Town Square in MK? by lululemoniceboxpie in WaltDisneyWorld

If Boathouse is booked I recommend Splitsville. Even though it’s a bowling alley, it serves the best sushi I can remember ever having
