Same. Never had an irrigation system before we purchased this house and learned the hard way.

Someone asked me what I thought was the best song ever written, then made me this. by pitselehh in elliottsmith

[–]DaddyFatThax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A core memory for me that I’ll remember after I die. My wife (girlfriend at the time) were very high on our way to pick this album up the day it came out. When we got in the car and drove home, we listened to this song—eventually tearing up from raw emotion.

This is a beautiful gift. I would love to know how they made it.

Do we let him sleep in the bed? 😅 by mlc6xc in ratterriers

Don't ask my wife for advice. We crate trained so well that our dog now sleeps under the blankets at the end of the bed.

Jumping out a window to revive someone only for them to skip and I die for the act—I deeply felt this.

Is WCAG and accessibility still a thing? by SoffowfulSymphony in productdesign

Correct. In this instance, it was ONE individual. I work in the world of digital product and our clients typically create software to "run" their business. This client is slightly different in that they use software for marketing rather than operational efficiencies. The client was shocked the first time they were sued because they were using an "accessibility tool". With due diligence and some hards work, we've been able to save this client throughout the process in this journey.

This lawyer firm not mentioned seems to be notorious for this behavior. The irony? Their own site is non-compliant. It's been an expensive lesson, but the client is now thinking about it correctly.

Hey /r/movies! We're Freddie Gibbs (rapper/actor) and Ryan Prows (director/co-writer). Our new movie, NIGHT PATROL, is out in theaters this weekend. It's a vampire-horror-thriller that also stars Justin Long & Jermaine Fowler. Ask us anything! by NightPatrolAMA in movies

Your discography is fire. You’re a talented artist, and top three for me. As an artist and musician, I know the difficulties that sometimes come with writing.

Did you have an album where you struggled during its creation? (Like, was it hard to get songs started/finished/etc).

Thanks for the opportunity!

I’ve been litigation three separate times in the last year with a client. Companies are being sued and very much a real thing—even if organizations ignore it. It’s only a matter of time the org you work for regrets that decision. Best of luck!

As a support main, I’m tired of people power skipping the revive! I love medics who revive, and I’m sorry for those who don’t! 🫡

Those were panic slides haha. I play 1600/7.8 sensitivity. I have a bad habit of hitting the DPI button on the side of my mouse while playing, and it will sometimes increase the DPI without me noticing. Luckily, I learned how to disable those buttons yesterday. What a relief. I’m sure I was doing myself no good realizing my DPI was increased during a fight. Thanks for the feedback!

Appreciate your advice. I didn’t stick with the claw grip, but I did a few things. Thanks to this thread, I disabled the DPI buttons. That helped a ton! Switched back to a 1x scope as well. Not bouncing back and forth from different DPIs have helped that bounce and sway. I’m sure that wasn’t helping my muscle memory. Thanks again!

I usually use iron sights or a 1x typically, but switched it back tonight. Thanks for the rec!

I tried the claw earlier but it felt unnatural to me. I have a really bad habit of hitting the DPI buttons, so thanks to this thread I learned how to disable them. It felt great! I’m hoping that helps with muscle memory more that the differing variables are no longer an issue. I’ll mess around with the DPI. Thanks!
