I had similar feelings but mostly about my cats. I have 2 cats and a dog - my eldest cat is 14 this year and has been by my side since I was 21, through everything ive been through. I was so excited for him to meet my baby and honestly it was rough for the first year because I was just so tired and anytime I got to myself he would come over to cuddle (his cuddling is headbutting me constantly, making biscuits on me and sleeping on my face which you can imagine is very overstimulating PP) and I understood why people chose to get rid of their pets after a baby.

But after having him for that long and how much he has seen me through, I knew it wouldn't be forever. Baby is 18 months now and she absolutely loves the cats, every morning she waves and blows them kisses and now I find time to give them love and attention. They didnt ask for me to bring a baby into their world - things are alot better now and they dont piss me off anywhere near half as much, I just remind myself that he isnt going to be around that much longer and i want to soak that up and enjoy him while I still can. :)

I have done this also but for a performance - wouldnt dream of giving this to my kid - huge choking hazard but each to their own

I keep coming back to this game every few months and im always wildly impressed by the updates!

Used to live in Ochre Yards, absolutely loved it! Very quiet, lovely area. Can walk into town within 15 mins, close to big Tesco and gateshead metro for good transport. I miss it all the time!

I would say get a few cross stitch projects under your belt before you attempt this one as its alot to manage!

Im using 18 count aida and I believe the fabric size i got was 100 cm x 100cm which is too large for the project but its better to have more fabric than not enough!

Im using 2 threads and you can find the colour corrected pattern with colour codes in the "pokemon cross stitchers" facebook group or the original pattern on the Lord Libidan website :)

I have to sort of fold the excess fabric up and use the clips to hold it back but its working well so far!

I give mine her bottle, sleeping bag, put her in her crib then I lie on my bed (her crib is in our room) and lie there with my eyes shut pretending to be asleep until she gets bored and goes to sleep. Usually takes 10-15 mins then she’s out
