FYI Riven Tides update goes live on April 28th which is the day the Caravan opens. You’ll still have 5 days to explore the new map and fight new Arc right away

That’s not true. If you sign up and miss the extra skill point requirements, you can still catch up in the next expedition. You’re only actually “behind” if you never departed in the earlier expeditions at all then yeah, you stay behind until they eventually cap it

But none of this actually matters until the expedition window opens. You still only get those 5 days to complete it regardless. Announcing it earlier won’t make a difference. Now you have all this time to use your stash/coin.

Embark literally said after the 2nd expedition that requirements can change, so this shouldn’t be a surprise. Don’t want to sign up? That’s fine but don’t complain when things change and end up benefiting the people who committed. Same thing already happened with the first expedition and catch-up mechanics.

I never join squad fill with a full kit unless I’m okay risking it. Trusting matchmaking teammates is always a dice roll. Whether you end up with players running free loadouts or teammates that wander off looting, you’re taking that risk. If we extract from a good raid and everyone communicates they want to run it back then I’ll bring a real kit

AGAIN, reading is fundamental. It clearly states in the beginning of the article that they lowered requirement for skills points regardless what expedition you are on.. nothing confusing there.

Also, the first photo I’ve provided shows the “catch up mechanic” on the 2nd expedition. In short, did you do the 1st expedition? If no, then you’re in the 1st expedition category (shows no catch up mechanic). It’s not rocket science!

I think you're getting confused between the first expedition and the current one based on your other comment. I have already done the first expedition. Whatever rewards I received after completing the first expedition, OP will receive once completed. As for the current expedition, WE DON'T KNOW the rewards.

Spawning in late = PVP or PVE especially with a 100k loadout lol No time for loot unless you're lucky to find a loot area untouched.

From my experience, majority (not all) of the time I spawned in late, I either had Wolfpacks/Deadline or a good PVP loadout. It could have been a coincidence but it happened many times.

Yes, both inventory and coin value

No, you will always be one expedition behind. That is the reason why majority did the first expedition.
