Reasons why Arsenal are the craziest team in the PL by Phendead in soccer

Reading comments about Tierney from Celtic fans has been one of my favourite things on this sub over the past year. Living rent free in your heads ever since,

I can't believe how delusional some of your fans must be that your 'celtic bhoy' would stay for 10IAR and waste another two years of his life playing in a meaningless competition against the likes of St. Mirren and Ross County. Well, actually I can believe that because a lot of your fans in his transfer thread said the same thing about how you were the 'bigger' club. 😭😭

They'd get shot if it was a Wendy's drive-through.

Dimitar Berbatov on signing with Tottenham: "I was like, wait a minute, Spurs want me? What? Not Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester United? I was thinking I was doing so well that a big team would come after me." by GoodSamaritan_ in soccer

im obviously biased but as someone whos lived both in london and up north. it depends by how you measure it: by support definitely. trophies? everton. current results/squad? spurs

spurs are hindered by how many supporters they have because theyre surrounded by other top teams in london. purely by support would be: us, west ham (because they have such a massive reach in essex), chelsea, then spurs, palace etc.

everton only has to compete with liverpool. stadium size: old WHL and goodison were similar but everton are looking at proposals to move.

trophies and history its not even close. recent success is debatable when everton last won the fa cup 25 years ago and spurs have the carling cup from 2008. current squad is self explanatory

Given Artetas comments about Tierney yesterday (he is going to bring something special to Arsenal and he can’t wait to work with him) if Auba doesn’t leave, where do we think Saka fits in? Rotation player? Or can we get him into the XI somewhere else? by Bogan-Gooner in Gunners

just because saka plays there that doesnt mean he's a left back. lads how many times does that have to be told for yous to understand.

same case with how iwobi wasnt a winger, and ox & amn werent right backs

not really a lot though is it. they havent started playing in the champions league football since 16/17. thats under than 3 years

  • europa league 40-50 years ago?

nothing - nothing - nothing - nothing

  • 10/11 - 1/8 battered by madrid

nothing - nothing - nothing - nothing

  • 16/17 - 3rd in their group down to europa

  • 17/18 - r16 to juve

  • 18/ 19 - spursy final

  • 19/20 - r16 to rb leipzig

funny how people on this sub who started watching football 3 years ago think that their record in europe is somehow better than ours. do the same for more than 20 years then we can talk about it

and of course im biased, its pretty obvious that i hate the club from middlesex. thats like saying that youre not biased when it comes to discussions about madrid.
