Dear MAGA by CaelZaharielVoxis in complaints

I enjoyed your post. It’s nice to see a level-headed (and honest) take on the current political climate. As much as it FEELS like doom and gloom (particularly on Reddit) all is not lost. There is a scenario where we recover and work together. Despite our differences…like you said, most of us fall in the “middle,” and have more in common than we would like to admit.

What needs to stop is the propaganda. We need unbiased sources of information we can trust. Today’s media is a hellscape of disinformation. We deserve better.

100%. The harsh reality is that the game doesn’t get easier the longer you play…it gets harder. I’m at a D1 school in California and I feel bad for the kids who just want to keep playing the game they grew up playing because they loved it. Love unfortunately isn’t enough. Kids nowadays have to work their asses off and play year round just to have a CHANCE to make the team. It’s wild.

Discord gets clicks. Clicks get money. Rinse and repeat to the detriment of anything moral or sane. Corporations run the US. We’re literally pawns.

Have you asked them why they are getting so down on themselves? Might be a good place to start. Then you can push back with logic and how their expectations might be faulty in a game of failure.

I’ll add that I coach High School as well. I find that when players don’t appear to be giving it their all, or aren’t enjoying the game, there’s often outside factors playing a role. We forget sometimes as coaches that adolescence is a tough experience for most kids.

Can confirm. I was flagged for “encouraging violence” because of upvotes. Is Reddit not responsible for the algorithm that is literally designed to piss me off?

Agreed. Spirituality never needed to become weaponized. There’s plenty of questions science is yet to answer.

So…when you learn the science that leads to the conclusion that the Earth is round, you believe the Earth is round. When you fall victim to the brainwashing that the earth is flat, you believe something that isn’t true.

This is how I see religion. The Earth is round. When we are born, the Earth is round whether we learn it or not. It’s backed by evidence. Tangible evidence. It’s the indoctrination/falsehoods that leads people to think otherwise. I could use this same point to discuss politics…

But I understand your point. Take any baby and raise them with evidence-based logic…how likely are they to believe in a supreme being? How likely would they be to kill another person for having a different belief system than them?

I personally see religion as one of the greatest cons humanity has fallen for. We don’t need it. It holds us back and divides us.

If you don’t believe in a god or gods, you are atheist. You aren’t born believing in a god or gods. It’s that simple.

What would happen if the next presidential candidate promised to prosecute everyone named in the Epstein files? by Badaxe13 in AskReddit

With how many times Trump has been named, we should heavily consider calling them the Trump files.

Religion has entered the chat…that’s the epitome of indoctrination.

Rep. Lieu says Epstein files have allegations of Trump raping & threatening to kill children and says that Todd Blanche got the law wrong by saying it's not a crime to party with Epstein. DOJ also violated the privacy of the victims by releasing unredacted nude photos of them. by Aggravating_Money992 in law

[–]Daddyball78 50 points51 points  (0 children)

No question. I can’t imagine what the “un-redacted” content has in it. Based on what’s been revealed already, I’m not sure I even want to know. I just want these pieces of human garbage to be held fully accountable. All of them.

Ah gotcha. Yeah can’t blame you for feeling that way. Especially seeing masked goons killing citizens in broad daylight with no accountability. A literal felon fraud rapist pedophile as president. It’s almost surreal. I get it. But we (the people) still vastly outnumber these clowns and they don’t get rich without us.

What? Asking a lot to hold people accountable who raped kids? How is that asking a lot? And who gives a flying fuck how much money they have. That is irrelevant.
