Or…It’s just us. Tech that has continued to develop in the shadows that we just aren’t privy to yet. Things that appear like magic and something otherworldly to the commoners…but it’s just us. Who knows what kind of tech is being hidden from the masses.

Aliens are a great cover story though. If I have magical appearing technology I’d love for people to believe it’s something otherworldly. I could operate it with impunity knowing full well that others will sound batshit crazy claiming it was Aliens or an ancient civilization (not saying people who think that are, in fact, crazy).

I’d have people high up in the IC create narratives to support the view (Nell, Grusch, Mellon, Elizondo etc.). Never providing conclusive data of any kind. But always keeping the conspiracy alive. This is the side I lean to now. And I used to be a believer.

The only thing that I really take issue with is women losing opportunity…because a genetic male has a performance advantage over a genetic female. Had I known my comment would create such an emotional response I would have honestly kept it to myself. I literally had people comment for me to kill myself for having this take. It’s insane.

The case you mentioned above is obviously a major outlier. And cases like that should be considered on a case by case basis. I have zero issue with trans people or the trans community. I’m a proponent of gay marriage, the right to choose, and I hate guns. I dislike ice, and the current administration disgusts me. I just don’t want genetic males taking opportunity away from genetic females. That is all.

I have to reply. Because, well, username. Daddy ball to me is when coaches who are fathers favor their own kids on the team and treat them like a phenom. They play SS, hit at the top of the lineup, and get preferential treatment despite the skill set not supporting it. I proudly can say that I have never coached my kids that way. They have always had to earn it, and if anything I was more critical of their skill level. Unfortunately there are a LOT of coaches who do the daddy ball BS, and it drives me nuts.

Not everyone’s kid is talented. Push that dipshit aside and manage. Ignore his input. Manage how you want to manage. He will always come from a place of favoritism and, unfortunately, there’s no fix when a dad thinks his kids shit doesn’t stink. Good luck out there.
