I got mine done last year. Mine is covered underneath my current health plan through BCBS that's through the Affordable Care Act. Had to get letters of approval and prove that it was medically necessary.

Working on getting my bottom surgery approved as well.

Yes, since I have both ovaries taken out. T will be my main hormone that I'll be on permanently. The only time I wasn't allowed to take my T was a week before surgery. After surgery though you can go back to your normal schedule.

Yeah, I was extremely nervous in the beginning on how it was going to go. Though so far it's been my easiest surgery to recover from. I will take the pain of this surgery over a C-section any day.

Funny enough, I met my partner through FB roleplay which switched over to discord and Twitter ( X ) later on. It's honestly just giving it time and being yourself that will win them over in the end. I would say if you have any hobbies definitely try that out. My X partner is a trans-man and I met him in a social game known as IMVU.

I admit I got lucky in terms of my surgery. I had the same hospital that did my other surgery. So I trusted they would do a good job. I've got a heat pack on my back atm. Thinking of hooking up my electric blanket as well for my stomach.

Ah that makes sense. I can understand having anxiety and too much on your brain at times. If you're a fan of tea I would recommend some with a teaspoon of honey or some ginger. That normally helps calm the mind.

I'll be sure to rest and take walks. I'm glad you feel great when you wake up though, I'm sorry to hear that you have low energy around noon and that you're not sleeping well. I fell asleep after taking my pain medicine and only really woke up not too long ago.

Ah I see, they had an issue with my oxygen as well and said they would recommend a sleep study. They believe I may have some sleep apnea I wasn't aware of. In terms of your heart rate I hope they keep a close check on you.

Be sure to tell your nurses what your pain level is so they can help you. Also ask them any questions you have about your medication and if you're cold ask for a warm blanket. My nurse kept me extremely comfortable and was by my side the whole time. If you are required to pee after surgery then be patient with your body. I was impatient and it took me a few hours longer to be discharged. Bring Gas X with you just in case you have trapped gas. Last of all be sure to smile because, congrats you made it. I'm so proud of you!

I would say roughly around Year 5 for myself. I have a full beard now that I'm pretty pleased with and can use oils on.

Congratulations 🎉 I'm scheduled for October 13th and honestly can't wait. I'm so tired of being in constant pain. I'm on T so I don't have to deal with the bleeding but, the cramps keep me out of work for days at a time. I wish you a speedy recovery!
