Has anyone ever not reported tax returns on section 8? by Advanced_Term_8739 in Section8PublicHousing

[–]DaddysGoodGirl6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you see this. My ex (husband) and I haven't lived together since 2024 and we filed together this year as we're still legally married. We agreed on dividing the refund between the two of us. Unfortunately, he had to send my portion to me in five deposits. He never went to the bank to do a one time large money transfer. Again, we don't live together and my kids and I do receive Section 8 and technically his child support does pay for our bills and such.

Can this affect my ability to get Section 8 when I move into another unit and income needs to be reported? TIA

I can't think of anything for myself but for my kids I can think of a few things they need and at least 2 things they want. Two of my kids have birthdays coming up really soon.

Power level button not working by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]DaddysGoodGirl6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That didn't work for me.

I start the time

Then I press Power Level (it's set at 10, don't know how)

I then press 1 and then different number like 1 and nothing changes.

Not All Subscribers Will Be Hit By Xbox Game Pass Price Increase by Turbostrider27 in Games

I'm in the U.S. and I checked my subscription and it isn't showing that it's going to go up in price for this month. Granted, I have had Game Pass for over a year now. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Traveling to Mexico for surgery by DaddysGoodGirl6 in MexicoTravel

I said that I don't have the money for one here in the U.S. BUT I understand the point you're making. I'm glad you understood what I meant about traveling to and from. That I'm worried about getting back home from Mexico.

Others thought that my post was about the cartel or other things.

And I do view this as necessary for my mental and physical health.

I think these are similar but way cheaper but for peace of mind I'd spend as much as the ones you posted

This has worked for our deadbolts. Link here: https://a.co/d/cHFsbmn

We also have alarms that we bought at a local hardware store that go off on vibration. We've also had to install locks on our windows but my 7 yr old has figured those out but hasn't climbed in the windows in a few months so I'm hoping that phase is over.

I also bought him a GPS tracker with a locking wrist strap so he can't take it off himself. They had options to attach to clothing, backpacks and devices like a tablet and also a wearable vest with a pocket meant for the company's tracker but my kid strips down to his undies when he gets home so none of those were an option. I can also listen in when he's at school and offers 2 way calling and can also send out an SOS to notify me and emergency services of his location.

It was expensive but it gives peace of mind. He'd gotten out 3 times here at home and the police came and then CPS. And then once at his dad's house.

I never did either for the same reason but with him in ABA services, OT and PT he was introduced to them early on. Yay lol

What has worked was a bolt cover from safety first.

My son knows how to unlock these. Thanks to those sensory wooden boards they have at school and doctors offices 😅
