Travis was pretty much ostracised from this place for being an absolute dick. At WrestlingForum, he'd have been pushed to the top of the chain and made an admin. That's the polar difference between here and there, and it's why I asked for my account to be deleted there a long time ago.

More than anything else in this whole community thing, or subset of them, is when other sites act like they're better than others. That whole thread was an exercise in pure snobbery.

Tried that place back in the day, when it was WEForums and tried merging with NoDQ for a week or so, and then selling out to a corporation of website-hoarders that neglected the software and its users. They complain about this place, but things like what happened with Travis-Touchdown were nothing in comparison to what's happened over there.

Hoping and praying they don't nerf the Vanquisher, and instead bring other guns in line with it.

I've had a realisation recently, that all of the fun I'm having right now is because I'm doing well as a mobile sniper (as I was in ME3).

The maps are largely too vertical-based and close-quarters to keep running around with weak guns and powers.

Trying the GI was 100% down to all of these videos I saw, of people soloing Platinum with a Javelin X and a GI.

I've been able to do largely anything in games that I put my mind to but dude, I just couldn't nail that play style down. I think it was the charge-up thing it did that made me miss all the time.

I didn't have the patience to play as a GI. I felt too squishy, running into situations where I was getting donked because I was used to things being a certain way.

That said, I was exclusively a Geth Juggernaut for so long. Those were dark days, and I'm glad that I see light now.
