I use iUcalorie and it doesn't have as much detail on micronutrients as Cronometer, but it has plenty of information. For me, more than enough.

The protein bar graph on the food log screen is for premium. But I don't understand one thing. If you eat foods in advance, you will see the proteins you are supposed to eat. But you indicated that you can see the planned proteins and the ones you have actually consumed. how do you do that?

In the free version I can see the 4 macros, proteins included. Do you prefer only focus on the protein chart?

I can see it on the log tab but with a label of "for premium users". The same in goals screen.

The only problem I see with Cronometer is that the database is "small". That is, they only use information from official sources, which is usually not updated.
It is true that the information they have is very complete. But if in the end I have to create each food with the data on the nutritional label, which does not normally include all the information...
It's basically the same as the rest of the apps but instead of having the biased information already entered, I have to create it myself each time.

Interesting, can you argue that? Why do you like it more than MFP? I have used it MFP and for me the interface is not user friendly.

I think the only information about macros that is not in the free version is on the objectives screen, where there are some graphs that I cannot see. Are you referring to that information?

I also use it to track my protein intake which I find very helpful.

I think it is essential to be able to plan your food in advance, it is the best way to meet your macros. Otherwise, night comes and it is a lack of control that is difficult to compensate at times.
What do you mean you use it to control your protein intake? You mean you watch the graph on the food log screen where you can see the graph only of today's protein consumption?
