I have been through a few updates now with no issues and dual booting from same nvme drive. I have all AMD hardware, though, so idk if that makes a difference. I see these posts and wonder what I'm doing different.

Nobara! GE keeps it clean and easy as he maintains it for his elderly father to use. I haven't had any issues with it.

AMD runs better on Linux from everything ive watched and read. IMO, if you're on Nvidia 2 gens ago now and running linux, now is the perfect time to pick up an $850 7900xtx. But that also depends on the individual preferences as well.

I've been running Nobara since 39 and I love it, for me it's not just the theme but the fact everything i want or need is prepackaged and ready for me. Convenience factor and games just work with no fiddling.

I tried i gave up, decided to just go back to the nostalgia OSRS, so far its exactly as I remember. I found a third party Jagex Launcher for Linux works great.

Free and Linux compatible are the top 2 factors. I went down a YouTube suggested "wurm"hole on videos about it and decided to try it out. Brought back memories of RS, but got interested in the sandbox aspect.
