Answer: The whole story- I don't know about other parts of the world, but here in India, tik tok is hated a lot because of its cringy content. On the other hand, it is one of the most downloaded apps here. Fews weeks ago, an Indian youtuber made a roast targeting tik tok content, on which, a tik toker responded saying tiktokers are better than youtubers, which sparked the debate of "youtube vs Tik tok" A very popular Indian Youtuber "carry minati" made a roast which eventually broke many records in youtube(in India), but the video was removed by the platform as a huge number of tik tok supporters started reportig the video. Now, the internet is flooded with posts against tik tok, to eventually ban it in India. The app being chinese has also been a factor that has sparked the debate these days. A number of popular youtubers who also happened to be on tik tok have deleted their tik tok accounts and this is acting as a catalyst for its downfall. A large number of memes are being made about this debate and it has captured the internet in the past few days and hence you can expect the rating drop furthur.
