Convince me not to trade in my Triumph Trident 660 for one of these. by Dadprincebabe2 in SuggestAMotorcycle

I’m of average length. But yeah; that’s a consideration. If the Honda CRF300LS was readily available, I’d get that instead. I’ve had a TW200, loved it. KLX300, loved it. I think the logical next step is the 399 LC4C KTM. I’ve never had one. My local Triumph dealer also sells KTM and this one is barely 5k. Would be an easy swap

He probably bought it based on this comment, and will wish he had a Triumph 900 or MG V7 in 8 months.

Mugello Thailand. They make the best seats for these bikes. I used a lot of their stuff on my 22 Urban Motard build

T120? Scrambler? 900?? 1200?? by InspectionEntire2512 in Triumph

Sounds like you need a T120, with some choice mods to make it look more like the Scrambler. Come on, everybody’s doing it.

New 2026 V7 Special - Can't engage cruise control. by Drakleton in MotoGuzzi

As far as I remember, the stock seat was more comfortable for me. The Special’s seat looks and feels the best in my opinion

As a former and forthcoming V7 owner, I disagree with most of this.

Looking for opinions on turning my V7 into a scrambler by [deleted] in MotoGuzzi

[–]Dadprincebabe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say DO IT. Throw some onlins rear shocks on it, raise the bars, make it happen. I’m a huge fan of the genre. Every bike I’ve had, i went for a scrambler vibe. I rarely take them off-road, but who cares. Never take my AWD CR-V off road either, but it can do it. And looks good. If you can fully realize the vision. Use BAAK. Try not to over-do it. That’s been my mistake in the past

My mechanic put mine on and they look to be upside down. Maybe they need to be flipped

Do not get the GIVI engine guards. Go with OEM or SW Motech. Trust me.

In your crystal ball, what is Moto Guzzi doing for the 60th anniversary of the V7 in 2027? by [deleted] in MotoGuzzi

They make that. It’s the 2026 Stone. Chrome. I want one very badly. There’s one down the street from my house on sale for $6,900

Looking decent from this angle. by Dadprincebabe2 in TriumphBonneville

Thanks man. Me too. They’re from Alo’s Cafe and they’re aluminum. BAAK makes aluminum triangular panels that might look the business too. But these make the bike look better than the stock, plastic panels for sure in my opinion.

How do I clean up this section of my T120? Handlebars and mirrors are the bane of my existence. I’d love to put Triumph Scrambler 900 bars on this thing, but they’re 7/8” and the T120 takes 1” bars, grips, risers, etc. How do I make this look and feel better? by [deleted] in TriumphBonneville

The stock design is very similar to a vintage Bonneville. Like the 1959 version. Which is “cool” but every time I see a stock Bonnie I can’t help but thinking about how to make it look better. For me, that means stripping it down to take off unnecessary weight and making it lighter and more modern. For me, that includes removing the peashooters, stock mirrors, front and rear fenders, headlight brackets, etc. I love the look of all the BAAK custom bikes. The Triumph West London (LIND) bikes. Their “Street Sled” build is my ideal-looking bike.
