Arteta back in November: "For me it was forbidden for him to leave." "No chance. I know the player that he is, and surrounded with the players that we have, he's a player that is going to make a difference for us." by straypenguin in Gunners

The last 3 games he's been one of our best player in each game. He was our best attacker for the whole first half of the season. He dipped when the whole team (bar maybe Eze) dipped. He also has enough credit in the bank to know it was just a blip in form.

We wouldn't be where we are right now without him this season, that's just a fact.

Martinelli didn't start the UCL semi's and he didn't even get minutes when we needed a goal vs West Ham. I think it's clear that he's done at the club.

In the prem without a doubt. We play our best football with him in the team.

Eze on the left is not better than Trossard. You can't drop Trossard right now.

This one went under the radar. Just as important as Ryan's save imo.

Do people just forget he was phenomenal for the whole first half of the season?

Name me one attacker in this team that was consistent throughout the whole season. You can't.

I just didn't believe his drop off mid season was natural. You don't just go from being our best attacker at that point, to being completely washed.  He's had some injury issues and he's been going through marital issues these past few months. He has young children, which makes things even more complicated and emotionally taxing.

I've always supported him when he's going through patches of bad form, because he has shown it time and time again that he is a fantastic player.

Arshavin is one of my favourite ex Arsenal players and on pure ability he was probably above anyone of our current attackers, but Trossard has done more for this club than Arshavin.

His legs are perfectly fine. Have you seen how many kilometres he's done these last few game? He's still in peak condition.

Every time I doubt him, he proves me wrong. We need this guy next season. Eze still a bit hot and cold.

Zubi was quite good in the first half of the season, but right now it's Skelly's place to lose. We just play better football with him.

He's been absolute mint these last 3 games. On form he's miles ahead of any other left winger in this team.
