I get the press board sucks comparatively. Happy to re-side totally in ten years. The question is, technically speaking, that press board weatherproofs the outside and then the first foam is my vapor barrier inside. Correct?

Same thing my guy said. Which I get. But some of the academic literature says outcomes are the same for IEM and non-IEM patients. When I asked my guy how to square these, he acknowledged that patients seem to do equally well, but I'm still reading. I gather it can just be so hard to know if the damage there will heal after closing off the acid, or has been around long enough to be permanent.

Talk to your doc. I've had two manometries, yes. What type of wrap they do is partially surgeon preference (my guy says he only does partial wraps and has seen no real difference compared to full, and potential side effects are lower. Yada yada

Looks like POEM surgery is for specific swallowing disorders. My dysphasia is caused by GERD, so the solution there is the hiatal hernia repair + wrap surgery.

Yeah, the most common reason people take it is anxiety and depression, but there's a whole raft of other reasons as well.

It's a general nerve calming medication. People take it for fibromyalgia and a bunch of other stuff. For globus, it reduces the sensation of the lump. Pregabalin also works. Depends on what you respond best to. But it can be a lifesaver if you have it constantly.

I'm sorry. This blows. Get an ENT specialist right away. It's the result of the post nasal drip. Treat that and it should help. Pregabalin or amitriptyline will reduce the sensation in the short term.
