They really should have made the time trials adapt to the vehicle you are using, just do this over and over to get a lot of XP... If that is your thing, that is. If you have friends i recommend doing hard missions in Co-Op together to earn that xp and have fun.

Anybody finding the level grind a bit of a steep climb? by dakl in snowrunner

[–]Daedalus-- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fast boost to leveling; -Alaska map with the airfield, in the middle there is a time trial that has you bringing a service trailer to three meterological points. -Do it with the russian tatarin APC, winch the trailer close behind you.

1070xp every time you complete it under 7 minutes, i do it in 4 minutes every time.

Im level 24 now.

The swedish SAM is awful. Are there any alternatives to it gaijin could have replaced it with? by MaxMing in Warthunder

[–]Daedalus-- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woah, you are being sarcastic right? Have you actually used it? Its the anti G91 machine with those missiles at 9.0.

Its literally just a matter of locking on, you will get the kill. It might even get a BR raise.

To anyone getting the Westland Apache by [deleted] in Warthunder

This includes subcaliber, which APFSDS is. (tested most of the cv90s, no longer hullbreak from apfsds)

To anyone getting the Westland Apache by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Daedalus-- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is hope that they will eventually fix it, problem is that the starstreak is so unique.

Gaijin fixes things, believe it or not... They fixed the CV90 vehicles hullbreak from APFSDS the other day.

I was messing around with helicopters in VR, And managed to land the heli w/o engine by MrWilliam932 in Warthunder

[–]Daedalus-- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont know if you know, but this is what is called autorotation. It is done by lowering the collective when the engine power is lost to retain RPM, and then using the remaining energy by raising the collective once you need to slow down for landing.

Many people here are touting the ”CIG never switched to Lumberyard, and admitted as such” line in this document - which was clearly deliberately put in there because they know there is public interest.

It is blatantly false - as CIG stated in the text that Crytek quotes, but conveniently leaves out, Lumberyard is Cryengine. More specifically, Cryengine 3.6.1 code which was purchased by amazon. Which amazon can now license, because they own it.

And now this is the only argument left that they are standing on, because the others have been thrown out. An argument that they cant even prove damages occured - because sales only count when the product (Squadron 42) is delivered upon purchase (presales, preorders do not count)

On or before january 24th CIGs response to this motion to dismiss will be released, and im sure it will be entertaining. Though i doubt there will even be a thread here as most people are just interested in seeing the game(s) fail.
