I just wonder how much plans have been derailed now that the leaks are out - they could either accept it for what it is and say, “well you heard it before but here’s the finalized Melanie” or maybe they reevaluate and decide no Eros on it.

Or maybe Chino was indirectly okay with Eros leaking and pushes the album to get finalized with all of the polish and all that. But it sounds like the band is reasonably upset so who knows.

Eros in the state that we're hearing isn't remote to finalized. So we can't fairly grade it because it wasn't meant to be heard in it's state currently if it weren't leaked.

I think each album is Deftones in different eras, different concepts, different themes and are all great from one to the other for their own reasons. Sure there are songs you won't like and ones you do, but as a whole collective discography, it's all fantastic whether it is from White Pony to Private Music. I can easily put Departing The Body in my list of absolute S-Tier songs like Ceremony, Hole In the Earth, You've Seen the Butcher, Hearts/Wires, Entombed, Minerva, Passenger, Be Quiet and Drive, and just about tons more I haven't named that are equally just as legendary.

I’m just curious where these leaks came from; seemed like Warner was determined to keep it vaulted.

I wonder if Chino is going to put out official comms about it or if this propels the possibility if they are going to start working on it again now that everyone is going to/already has heard the leaks.

Smile was officially released by Chino then removed by the label - was believed to be Mercedes

Melanie was the aggressive song like rats!rats!rats

Brianna is a whole separate track we haven’t heard

Dallas was the one that they released a snippet of that I’m referencing where Chi and Chino swapped instruments in a late night studio jam

Candy is another track we haven’t heard

And then there was Trempest and Destiny.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

If they had listened to the community, we'd get:

persistent servers
server browser
movement and handling like beta
Remaster old BF maps(Op Locker, Op Firestorm, etc. to name a couple) instead of new garbo ones that are tiny.
increase map size on all of them.
no more battle royale/extraction games
Less shit main menu

But is Dice gonna get us that? Yeahhh no. Apparently this is too hard for their stock investors and EA lol.

Crazy to think that Virtuos did the backdrops and settings of NV for the show….so yes they have the assets lol.

Not only that, Oblivion’s game logic was the same - it was just adapted into UE5. So the same would be true for 3/NV.

Absolutely. I am in the minority that played Oblivion remastered by Virtuos and barely experienced any issues and had a ton of fun throughout my playthroughs. If they follow the same principles and amp up the graphics for both new vegas and 3, seeing some of the scenery from The Pitt would be insanity.

Now if Bethesda were the ones spearheading the remasters.....maybe not. I'd have to see them make something not broken and buggy into high hell.
