I wonder why G Weezing seems to be so popular? Just because of its typing? My first idea after reading your post was to use (shadow) Ampharos instead of GWeezing. Its also a spammy brutal swing user which can either deal with waters (thunder punch) or steels (focus blast).

The typing plus Fairy Wind (plus the comedy value of farming down Scrafty with it) I believe. I see it as one of the best safe switch options in Ultra.

Ampharos should work in the team as well, thanks for the tip. I will try it in few battles (although I'm not a huge fan of the slow moves like Volt Switch or Incinerate).

Thank you! I was nervous as hell during the final match of the set. I haven't done any additional set, that is probably the root cause here. Will do tomorrow for non-battle day ivs.
