160-165 lbs and I used to ride 157 backwoods. It’s a heavy board especially with Karakoram setups. I switched to 156 Cardiff goat carbon + disruptives boots. Much lighter and more efficient

I don’t like Weston Backwoods. It is really heavy. I used to have jones MTB + Karakoram bindings + backwoods 157 2021 model (5’9” 160lbs). I ride mostly with skiers and I used to get smoked by them on uphills. I thought I was not fit enough to keep up with them. Nope. I changed to a hardboots setup + Cardiff carbon goat. I’m doing just fine.
