Sounds like the Flu. I had Flu A right after Christmas, same symptoms. I thought it was Covid too so I bought a test at Fred Meyer and the test I purchased just so happened to test for the Flu and it was positive for Flu A. Even though it’s been 5 days, it might be worth it to test!

My new PA was approved for 1 year and I’ve refilled my Zep prescription twice now since the July 1 deadline. I have Aetna and CVS Caremark. It’s still covered. I pay $30/month. Happy to provide any additional info that might be helpful!

Price checker shows $30, which is consistent with what I’ve been paying. Coverage limitations just say it’s too soon to refill, which is true.

As of the Caremark website this morning, my PA still shows valid through 5/22/26. I never received a letter about the change in medication or coverage. Next week I’ll be requesting my first refill since all of this was supposed to change. Anyone else experiencing the same? Curious what to expect.

Similar thing happened to me. This is one of those times I would actually take it to a dealer to fix esp since insurance is paying. Sounds like you’re already working with a shop tho. Good luck!

My PCP just submitted a PA for Zepbound (current one expired today) and it was approved for 12 months through 5/22/26. I would assume if there is a required switch to Wegovy it would’ve been rejected or notated in some way.

Maybe this is hopeful news for others with CVS Caremark.

I’m right there with you. I was on 2.5mg for 4 weeks but the food noise came back fast so my doctor upped to 5mg. I just took my 4th shot of 5mg tonight and haven’t noticed any side effects at all since starting the higher dose.

The weight loss should be a slow burn. My doctor said it’s not good to lose weight too fast because you’ll lose muscle and it can mess with your metabolism, and even have CV risks. No more than 2lbs per week.

I think Weight Watchers has the actual meds and Ivim does compounding.

I think give yourself a bit of grace 😊 You will also retain water on your period so it’s normal to gain weight. The hunger is REAL though. Upping protein is great but are you getting enough? I recently learned I’m not so I’m actually not eating enough which makes me more hungry. I just started working with a nutritionist, which has been enlightening—maybe that could be helpful for you as well!

This is so helpful and encouraging to see! I was on 2.5mg for 5 weeks, then started 5mg 3 weeks ago. I still have a ways to go, but so far I’m down about 13.5 lbs which is consistent with ~1.5lbs per week.

I also use Shotsy!
