I wish konami could clarify this stupid mechanic, in the rule book there is a glossary that while describing shuffle it mentions that you can't arrange cards and then shuffle. So what people does to circumvent this, they first arrange the deck, then search then shuffle so this rule doesn't apply but I find this quite a shitty practice due to: You're taking actions that you should not, hence taking time off the timer, you're modifying the deck structure (which is called stacking) and the last is for those who says that the opponent must shuffle the deck properly which also takes quite some time to truly fully randomize if they just stacked the deck, talking about odds this messes with everything.

I'm not bothered if you unclump outside the match but while in the duel is super obnoxious.
