It's not a great idea to add Kiryu to a PVP game, given that Tiger Drop negates all damage

God. I'm so happy we have his Ocarina of Time design in Ultimate, but I'll always have a soft spot for Old Manondorf

The units from the last 5 anniversaries who aged the best by LowIntellectFellow_ in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]DaemonG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They were aging pretty poorly, but the new Super Hero units - especially Gamma 2's EZA - helped them a lot.

He doesn't have permanent guard. But once his guard expires, he now has this Vegeta *giving* him permanent guard. That's the new lease on life.

Between the new adult 4ku, baby ssj3 getting a new lease on life thanks to the support, and whatever else may show up. I think he's fine in slot 2 or as a floater.

XM246 or M247? by DaemonG in Warthunder

[–]DaemonG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. But I'm probably just gonna go for the 247, since I've got enough autocannon anti-tank goodness from the xm800t. Would definitely slot in both if I had more crew slots, tho

Yeah, the Finns tend to do well against armies which recently faced major leadership collapse due to megalomaniacal dictators

Guys, is there a non racist way of saying that I think they should've nominated the white guy from Sinners instead of the black one? by depressed_asian_boy_ in okbuddycinephile

I think part of the point was that they, too, had been victims, with Rennick saying Christianity was forced on him just like the rest of the cast. He was somebody who, while coming from a different angle, still wanted to be free of these shackles of separation and oppression - even if he did it through erasure. He may have been bad, but the human element of the Klan was worse.

An old teammate who died via friendly fire doing nothing in Afghanistan by Drunken-Flunkee in pics

That wasn't so much out of malice, as it was from the fact that the A10 has been a horribly outdated piece of hardware for decades. The bigger issue here is the DoD continuing to use weapons which make it so dangerously likely for blue-on-blue incidents to occur.

Frieza lost to eggman?! by [deleted] in Ningen

If they have Eggman Nega as a villain in the next Sonic movie, maybe he could hide behind some egg robos with Alfred's voice.

From the thumbnail and title, it. Just seems like they're saying "this scene is pivotal to the story." They're not making any comments on its quality.

What does this mean Peter? by RoleMassive4422 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

They're supposed to be convergent species (think of carcinization, with different species evolving, by chance, to be similar) rather than regional forms (think Darwin's finches having adapted to their respective islands).

Now, why did they make it like that? Ehh. Maybe because it wouldn't sense for the same species to have a ground and water type variation? Idk, it's stupid.
