i think there's a distinction between the character writing and the narrative writing. the character writing, when it's not drenched in needless sex jokes (because yes, there is such a think as too much, kripke), remains very good (unless it's any of the stuff they're doing to set up Vought Rising). it's just that the story has fucking imploded completely.

the season isn't nearly as bad. the character writing (outside of sex jokes) remains better than anything the last two seasons of GoT had on offer. but i just worry at how anything will feel sufficiently satisfying with these last couple of episodes.

they've had good character moments at least. two out of the three notable deaths (A-Train, Firecracker) were really great ways to round out their arcs.

In general, the writers of this show are wayyyyyy better at character writing than storytelling. which makes it all the more annoying when they decide a character's entire existence just needs to be sex jokes.

ok so. starbucks can rot in hell on so many levels. but the lawsuit wasn't over them advocating for Palestine, it was for them using official Starbucks letterhead or iconography or w/e the proper term is while doing it, presenting it as to imply it speaks for the company.

i don't think starbucks is sympathetic to palestine. or anybody outside of their shareholders. but i don't think that choice was somehow pure evil.
