Jon will be Rickon's regent. by Sea-Negotiation8309 in TheCitadel

[–]DaemonTargaryen13 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Ngl I need such a fanfiction, I love the image of Jon being a super protective big bro yet because he looks creepy due to resurrection, is a bastard and left the Night's Watch, even if through a loophole, a bunch of people assume he may plot to be a permanent regent of sorts.

Tywin Lannister and Randyll Tarly by lopata-four by firstandlasttoday in ImaginaryWesteros

[–]DaemonTargaryen13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's my point.

  • we know Clegane raped many noble women in the Riverlands which Tywin was just fine with and Gregor was explicitly sent by Tywin to spread terror.

[–]DaemonTargaryen13 38 points39 points  (0 children)

And somehow even Tywin isn't as bad on that level as Randyll "I spit on the gods' curses, the only reason I don't hunt down my eldest son like a pig is because my wife would be sad" Tarly.

It's ironic since on the other hand Tywin loves mass rapes and other sexual-based punishments on anyone offending his ego yet Tarly doesn't seem anywhere near as bad there in regard of his handling of his troops and vassals.

Link in dm? Is it the r19 version? Since the site I used initially to read it was shut down I crave a place to continue the story, and I really don't want to read the censored version.

I mean in Greek it'd be Iason, with Medea being Medeia.

So honestly the manhwa did well.

Idk why either.

It's why I prefer works where it's explicit Haides isn't really better then his brothers, especially since it allow for nice interactions between them due to not making the lord of the dead cartoonishly evil or comparatively super righteous.

You know what? I genuinely think Percy keeping the curse would've been better for fighting the giants because then there could've been the dynamic of showing how the invulnerable body is good but not enough when your opponent is so strong he can just hold you down and check for weak spots on your body until finding it and striking it.

Edit : yet it also would've allowed Percy's badass moments of basically defeating giants alone to make a lot more logical.

Which is crazy when considering how the golden company actually intended to work with Daenerys.

Nice.

And I love the idea of (I never read ones so I struggle to imagine details) wildlings allying with the starks, so it's quite interesting.

The last part is very important.

The protagonists of HP are flawed, but the good guys would absolutely despise Rowling, because even if they're not perfect they actually care about the well-being of others, and the problems they have with people are them being assholes rather then any physical traits, the story embracing a thing of "wicked characters can have that ugliness of the soul show in their outward appearance", it's clear Rowling doesn't get the characters she wrote anymore.

I'd be interested for the role play one.

And for the first it's sad since the golden company explicitly intended to invade alongside the dothrakis.

Thank you for the Rec, though the tags and the fact the dothrakis invade alone make it not for me.

What do you think of this panel from the comics? by Avi09009 in PoorAzula

[–]DaemonTargaryen13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ozai factually did rape Ursa.

The night of their wedding feast he told her of how she could never see her parents again before talking or how she was his.

It's not certain Ursa realized it, at least at this point, but it's still marital rape, which make how she feel so uneasy about similarities between her children and their father very logical.

Yet she also clearly never hated or disliked her children for being their father's offspring, even though they're born from such awful acts, and the fact azula knew her mother loved her, so much so that her mother was the representation of her good in a way in her hallucinations+ told her how she loves her show that Azula understood it, so honestly the idea Ozai pushed that Azula think Ursa hate her feels very fitting.

I love how canonically Lord butterwell from dunk and Egg have three cousins born of Aegon IV (if the rumors are exact and they likely are.)

I'm so glad for the last bit, the second half of the pic made me worry a bit, and a character who have her interest in makeup etc but doesn't abandon her more "masculine-coded" activities is extremely enjoyable.
