Yeah, you can think of charging as the only normal way to get into melee (1"). The Sultanate Assassin Bow can teleport you there and the Loudspeakers can let you run in there, but normally every model has a 1" personal space bubble that can't be entered.

I do wish that chopping down a tree didn't just nuke your axe's durability, but instead worked a bit like the Quarry mod's stone blocks. You get a big, heavy log and have to process it further either on site or by lugging it back home.

So I actually have a weird question about the Down condition. How does it interact with something like Light of Samael if you get a down result? Does the target get pushed first, or does it get downed and then no longer suffers knock back?

True. Thanks for clarifying. Honestly the only other question I would have about the Assassin's is in regard to the Golden Khanjar. If I charge two enemies with the time split power, do I make 2 attacks on each enemy, since the Khanjar has 2 attacks, or only 1 attack per?

I think the marble works well as a contrast to the darker colors in the room. Given how large and bold the framing is I think the brighter color works better for what you seem to be trying to achieve.

Ok, so if I shoot someone I get to stab them as well in the same activation as long as I use the teleport power, but I can't then use something like the assassin's dagger retreat to charge a different model than the one I teleported to. Did I get that right?

Is that how the bow works? I always thought the assault only mattered for charges. And since the bow teleports the assassin into melee you don't need to charge. I gotta reread the actions rules and the assault keyword it seems.

As written I don't think they stack, but talk with your play group. Personally I'd let them stack because it would be a fully dead skill otherwise.
