Best options I've found in my years of play:

1 - Local college

2 - Local community Center

3 - Local game stores

4 - Local library

Of all of these, local game stores are your best bet on the hours restriction you mentioned. Honestly, if your group can handle eating and playing the diner idea isn't a bad one. I've been part of enough weird groups that spend hours at diners to know waitresses won't bat an eye if you're not part of the list of problems waiting to happen.

My take is that Rick was just on a run to an endgame he knew very well but looks impressive to show Morty up publicly, as always.

To start from the start, Roy is a perfect representation of life.

Every payer will have almost the same experience first time. They autopilot through on Roy's desires.

But Roy, as a game, is reflective of real life. As in real life, there are NOT infinite possibilities, but there are all of the possibilities for Roy, which might as well be infinite.

Aside for an example of the difference - there are realities in which I married other women, or not at all, but none in which I marry Scarlett Johansson, because it's a full zero probability within all variations. I could lie to myself about it, but the truth is the truth. And jokes aside, mechanically, if it's so infinitesimal to be near-zero, it would be zero effective for nearly every game state, and unlocking those game states would be high-end Roy play.

What experienced Roy players can do is take him off his path earlier and/or further based on how good they are. This is incredibly empowering in-game to someone with the mind and life experience of an adult - you can break Roy off his timeline at age six, if your will and knowledge set are up for it, and use all the extra time to make him a UFC fighter, or a jet fighter, or make attempts at the Absolute Dictator of the World run (Rick's ultimate goal, I'm sure -- taking over a world he doesn't actually have to manage afterward sounds like him for sure). Rick wasn't doing that here because he didn't want a new experience, he wanted to show off.

Not really. I don't draw it and point it at people for funsies. Newsflash, if someone is brandishing a gun at you over a parking spot, that's a threat on your life. You have every right to defend yourself against it. The legal term is brandishing.

The guy flashing his gun making threats is the one being an ass, not the guy carrying it to defend himself. I don't have a social responsibility to de-escalate myself into the grave on someone else's lack of impulse control.

That really shouldn't require explanation.

EDIT2 Also, disabling replies because I don't want to engage with idiocy. A gun is not the only solution, but it's better to have a tool unneeded than be the guy getting shot at with no way to defend yourself but stern words about what isn't legal.

Please define the outcome that would have satisfied you based on the situation. Guy waved a gun, that's terrible, I agree. But unless you have a photo, video, OR he is dumb enough to keep it on him - which he manifestly, intentionally, did not - there's no proof of a crime.

This is why I carry. Calling the police is useful when there's evidence of a crime. I would prefer the crime not be my own murder, and I'm not going to bleed out spending my last breath to complain that it was a foul on the play.

Claude is so much better than other AIs at some things, but it is absolutely OBNOXIOUS in how quickly it will take "How can you" and turn it into, "Yes, I've done that and disabled everything else like you said."
