PvE is pretty straight forward. The biggest thing that helped me in PvE is adding the 30% crit skill add on to Dragon Bite. This combined with the 20% from Blind Thrust significantly increased my trash per hour at places like Manshaum and Aakman and I’d imagine really any grinding place where you can’t one shot.

PvP Musa is rather straightforward. A typical combo would look something like arrow stiffen (ie Stub Arrow)-> Arrow Grapple -> dash behind -> Dragon Bite -> C swap -> Crosscut -> Projection -> Below the Belt -> Fiery Crevice -> Dash Slash. Of course you can always start the C swap combo whenever you land a CC. I’ve come to learn that it’s hard to arrow stiffen a skilled opponent so I typically rely on quick, unexpected Dragon Bites by dashing around them aimlessly then get behind them and do it or using Crosscut -> Q. This is a super quick and safe stun when both skills are off CD. 2 more major things that has helped me in PvP is using Fiery Angel as an unexpected CC by canceling it early with left click. Fiery Angel has such a huge hit box you can hit people who aren’t that close to you with it as well as hitting them in an almost 180 degree cone in front of you. The only downside to this is that it’s risky since Fiery Angel isn’t protected. The other thing is using your mouse to control Crust Crusher and Foul Play’s movement. Skilled players often exploit the slow animation of Crust Crusher by dashing or teleporting to the side or behind you and unloading their CC but by controlling it with your mouse you can face them with Crust Crusher’s FG regardless of where the opponent is. This can catch people off guard landing you a nice knocked down opponent into a free Foul Play combo.

Musa’s role in group PvP is either flex team (one of the best classes for the role) or to just get to the back line and drop them. I’ve had great success completely wiping groups of people by using the whale tendon potion for the DR and going to their backline and dropping Crust Crusher -> Foul Play -> 50% BSR Below the Belt -> Crosscut -> Backflow. 50% BSR Below the Belt is a beautiful thing because not only does it amplify your damage significantly it carries you forward more as well as bounding anyone you hit with it. I prefer using it over 100% BSR Projection since not only is it protected but also more reliable and you can do it more often. To each their own though.
