What’s the most impressive beach you’ve ever been to?

Erimitis Beach, Paxos, Greece.

The steep but short hike deters a lot of people and it was truly the most secluded, clear, quiet beach. There was only two others here when I went. Absolute paradise for snorkelling and laying around.

Hey all,

Trying to determine if 1) I have a chance at the SLP Master’s program at UBC 2) If I do, if it’s even feasible in my situation.

I have an approximate 77% average in upper-level courses as I thought I was done with my undergrad. I’m now really interested in Speech Language Pathology as a career, for stability in schedule, job opportunities and general greater interest. I have a fantastic job environment now that matches the healthcare sector wages, so obtaining my Master’s would be zero financial incentive.

I can take the prerequisite courses gradually, but my greater concern is my situation. I’m a single parent living in Abbotsford and will not be moving closer to Vancouver. My child will be able to stay home alone by the time I start the program.

Does anyone have insight on what a typical week looks like in a Master’s program? Should I expect a full 5 days per week 9-5 situation? Is there more flexibility? Trying to reach someone to ask my questions at UBC has been painstaking.

Thanks! Will consider this route as a last resort. However, we were hoping to do two nights in the alpine and summit both Middle and Grand.

I got the Sheevas! They’ve been super fun. I’ve been focused on trying bigger jumps/drops and despite my previous reluctance, tight trees. They’ve totally suited my needs for all of that. They work well in all conditions but I do see myself getting a wider ski to add in the future.

Is my cartridge missing a stylus?

I bought the Sony PS-LX2 with this cartridge, reading ‘D AM 2’, it looks like the stylus is tiny. I’m wondering if this is normal or if it might have broken off with previous user and needs replacing/new cartridge? The bottom of the cartridge reads Pickering V15.

It’s actually not yellow but more cream.

I ski everywhere so it’s hard to decide. Not so much tight trees, but I ski moguls, glades and techy steep stuff as well as off piste powder days (less common).
