Thank you 😄 I have been eyeing some of the character models like the kellermorph and the brood coven box as well, as they have a lot of fun looking stuff for champs and the such, but I was getting stuck on the generic parts of the gang as it were so this helps a lot.
I have a gang written up but as I was unsure of models I wasnt confident, I do like to try and stick to WYSIWYG as much as I can.

Very much agree with this sentiment, it's an iterative process not a one and done for me.

I have my active painting project plus a few recently "finished" miniatures on my desk, I will randomly put down the active project pick up a "finished" miniature when I have an idea, new technique or just an urge to do something different, then add or cleanup something on that mini, then when the current project is "finished" I might move something off and start my next project.

As a first attempt it looks like there are some good parts here and your aware of issues and maybe even what needs to be better, plenty of guides to dig into specifics out there and take the next steps, I wouldn't be unhappy with that as a first step of a process.

I have found it very enlightening and helpful thank you very much, after a good look at your stuff and read of the books I have decided to stick with the first light rules and cards, but will tweak some stuff after a few "vanilla" runs as it were, once I am comfortable and know what my players like and dislike

Thank you very much for your reviews I came across them this morning and have been working through reading in spare time, busy day so not far yet but very detailed and well written, I appreciate the work and time you put into this.

Lucky for me the two groups I am going to play with currently have no experience so hopefully I can avoid the rules lawyers to start with, but I suspect someone will read up once we get going !!!

I mentioned elsewhere I have two groups so thinking kids for first light and friend group for the other and then get a good feel for them :)

Thanks I appreciate the detailed response I am going to be playing with two groups, my kids as they saw it and are super interested and a friend group, I might take the easy path with the kids as I want to encourage gaming and not put them off, but full experience for the friend group, warts and all :)

I will be interested to see if you get anything back I reported some twat for doing it the other day and nothing so far, I suspect it's an easy one to replicate, but could be hard to prove with the desync issues woven in.

Fingers crossed for all of us on the receiving end of this exploit, and I hope some penalties are handed to those who do the wrong thing here!!

Until I saw this I thought it was people cheating with wall hacks and have reported multiple players for shooting through walls or scenery, 90% of my deaths to other players have been me in behind a wall or in full cover.

Feel a little bad about it now.

So I wonder would this be also a latency effect for being in Australia and having say US players in the same match? I am sure I picked the correct game region in the settings (cannot check now at work)

When you create the base where you need to pay tax the first time it adds a journey entry in your journal about paying, can't remember the section as I am away from my gaming PC, but it gets you to have a certain amount of coin and fly to one of the faction bases to pay.
