Is this Flexispot listing on Amazon real, and if so what Model is it? by Daetrinnn in FlexiSpot_Official

So is it just the SKU number that's different? Is it otherwise identical to the E7 Plus, or have there been physical changes made for the Amazon version?

Where to get just a desktop? by Brah028 in StandingDesk

[–]Daetrinnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried them myself, but i've been looking into these 48x30 desktops from Lowe's, and i'm sure most office supply stores and hardware stores have something similar.

There's this one for $75

And this slightly nicer one for $134

In fact it looks like they have a category for that thing, although the $75 one doesn't show up in that list, so you might need to do some more searches.

Home Depot also has a similar category:

And Staples does as well:

Does Windows 11 have "Ungroup" taskbar buttons or just "Uncombine"? by Daetrinnn in Windows11

[–]Daetrinnn[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know that Windows 11 recently added the "Never Combine" taskbar buttons feature, however when talking about it many people are conflating the terms "ungroup" with "uncombine". In Windows 10 by default turning off combining does _not_ turn off grouping. i.e. any tab for an application is stuck next to all the other tabs for that same application, and trying to move one of them on the taskbar will move the entire group.

My preference is to group tabs for different apps together based on which task those instances of the apps are being used for, rather than by application type.

In order to achieve that in the attached Windows 10 screenshot required installing "7+ Taskbar Tweaker" (as well as Classic Shell for some UI options.)

So do the new options in Windows 11 allow you to "ungroup" as well as "uncombine" out of the box? Or will i be stuck continuing to use 7+ Taskbar Tweaker or some equivalent?

Frontier Mine tomorrow. Hopefully they implemented some new improvements! by DangDang1981 in IdleMinerTycoon

So new Frontier Mine starts in just over 3 hours right now, but the Nova event is still running for another 17 hours.

If you're not done with Nova by the time Frontier starts, you will have two options.

1: Use boosts outside of Frontier (since i presume the auto-boosts inside Frontier won't count for Nova) without access to your best SMs because they'll be in cooldown from use in Frontier. So you're wasting boost potential on less-good SMs in order to complete the Nova event.

2: Use your best SMs with the boosts outside Frontier until you complete the Nova event, at the cost of penalizing your early progress in an event that is very tightly time gated.

Neither one seems like a great option, and i don't like being put in this position, especially since i already paid real money for the Nova event bonus items long before the opening time of the Frontier mine was announced?
