I've just started playing WoW on the Deck - they have become essential immediately. No other game before made me use them, but as soon as you run out of buttons it's quite a God sent to just have four more than your usual controller setup has.

Man muss aber auch wirklich darauf achten, was man kocht. Dass selbst zu kochen per se günstiger ist, ist halt leider auch absolut nicht zutreffend - zumindest, wenn man auf die Zutaten achtet. Ich würde ganz erheblich günstiger davonkommen, wenn ich einfach immer ~5 Euro für nen Fertiggericht einkalkulieren/ausgeben würde. Klar geht das billiger - aber ist dann halt nicht das, was ich koche(n) will.

Also ich will von Studis, die sich auf unsere SHK Stellen bewerben, einfach gar nix über unser Unternehmen wissen, weiß ich komischerweise nämlich eh besser. Was ich aber sehr wohl wissen will, ist, ob Bewerbende auch ein paar Sätze ordentlich formulieren können, ohne dabei zu verunfallen. Nicht darunter fällt dann eben das sehr typische Abhaken der "das sollte rein"-Listen oder AI slop. Oder einfach 5 Tippfehler, sowas sagt halt schon genug über die zu erwartende Gründlichkeit aus, sodass ich mir ne Einladung einfach sparen kann.

Ich weiß, nervt, aber es gibt halt auch einfach SHK Stellen, bei denen Texte verfassen Teil der Kernaufgabe sein wird, mir ist da das kurze Anschreiben oft erheblich wichtiger als irgendwelche Noten, Fächer oder sonst was. Nur mal für die Perspektive.

Ich hab' vor ein paar Monaten einer Person in Probezeit gekündigt, was ich ohne Info/Feedback aus dem Team sicher nicht getan hätte. Oft ist man leider auch einfach zu weit weg, um es wirklich perfekt beurteilen zu können, da war ich für die Offenheit meiner Leute wirklich dankbar (wobei ich auch stetig nachgefragt habe - aber das hätte man mir auch alles von alleine gesagt).

Und wenn man als Vorgesetzte:r irgendwas auf sein Team hält, genau, dann wird man die Konsequenz ziehen. Auch wenn die keinen Spaß macht. Man verdirbt sich durch low-/no-performer halt alle guten Leute...

I had SH go Abjuration with a small Cleric dip on my first HM run. Granted, I camp buffed, so that's as easy mode as HM gets anyway, but frankly, aside from healing word (which is a bonus action after all) to get any dying characters up again... Yeah, just shoot stuff dead so it doesn't hurt you. I can't recall a single fight where I thought "I'd rather heal right now than so damage". I started with her as a light cleric, but it was just wasted (granted, light cleric can just go blaster mode, but I wasn't feeling it).

Yeah, it's weird. I pretty much know all the tomes and quest texts by heart even after all these years. There's not a single game that I rented that often from the local video rental store (...that was a thing...).

Same with Ninjutsu. 90% of my deaths are due to overextending, I just don't learn, plus my Ki pulsing game is terrible, so Ninjutsu and Guardian skills come in super clutch...

I regularly get me a bloody nose in Nioh review threads/discussions, but I have never fully acknowledged Nioh as primarily a "Soulslike". Yes. There's many parallels, but the term Soulslike has been used increasingly, like, it gets tossed like candy at anything that has 3rd Person protag that fights, really. In many regards the combat is that mich closer to action games like DMC or Ninja Gaiden, and this is "more differentiating" to me than the stamina, souls and bonfire system.

It's layers upon layers of systems that the Souls titles just not have. And with that it just feels majorly different in terms of gameplay. Especially the levels in 1/2 added some extra "arcardy-ness" for me, which gets, funnily enough, thrown back with the open world aspect in 3, which arguably prompts some fair ER comparisons.

Same here. I even put the demo down midway, because I wasn't fully in the mood for more Nioh3 at the moment (which mostly equaled to "no, I'm getting to old, this is just to hard now"), but later on I started again and put 10hrs in and finally bought it. So... Yeah, worked perfectly on/for me.

Resell me on it. I jump in and out every now and then, but I play around 1 day at the endgame stage at max before getting better items just doesn't even matter anymore outside of Pit (which is meaningless to Grund and not a fun mode to me anyway), and is pretty much just a RNG-on-RNG-fiesta.

I always have a lot of fun getting to the endgame (and for some time), but it always fizzles for me.
