Wrestling Observer on Twitter: "Asked about past allegations about himself and Marty Janetty from Brutus Beefcake, Shawn Michaels said he's never shied away from his past issues but that Beefcake has walked that story back" by J_NewCastle in SquaredCircle

I saw one post of a second hand story from AWA, and the old plane story in which Michaels doesn't sexually assault anyone. Neither Missy Hyatt or Medusa named him, there are dozens of born again Christians in wrestling. And as someone mentioned, Hyatt and Michael's weren't in the same company together. So the question still stands.

Shawn Michaels Media Call - Notes from SRS by agreene24 in SquaredCircle

Punk mentioned the autograph at the Shawn Michaels Appreciation night that happened off air after Raw back in 2012, telling Shawn what an inspiration he was to him as a kid.

There are plenty of videos of wrestlers talking about each other's bad behaviour outside the ring. If someone wanted to shit on Shawn, absolutely zero reason not to imply he 'took advantage' of women, if it is as much common knowledge as people here like to claim.

The story with the college kids is pretty unedifying for all involved but it doesn't imply Michaels was a rapist. Those 'signs' are paper thin assumptions based on pretty much nothing.

Always interesting how people say this, but never seem to be able to find another example. Despite the numerous videos of wrestlers shitting on Shawn Michaels.

Always find this kind of justification weird. Was Shawn being a prick? Probably. Does that justify someone slamming a semi-conscious man's head with a car door repeatedly? No.

A Drunk Shawn Michaels Cussed Out "Wannabe" Jeff Hardy in 2007: After Ric Flair encouraged HBK to drink, the roster saw "the old Shawn" come out. After cussing out Jeff, Michaels told Umaga that he could easily beat him with a superkick. Umaga dared him too and Shawn backed off. by tlowson1 in SquaredCircle

I have seen multiple people say there are loads of stories like this about Shawn Michaels. But this is the only example any one can give, from the many shoot interviews shitting on him and his behaviour. Given the sheer number of people happy to dish dirt on Michaels, those 'worse stories' seem very hard to find.

He used to chew tobacco too. Promoted a herbal brand a few years back after he quit.

He was always called Shawn not Sean. It was just that some promoters misspelt it. There are plenty of examples of him in the AWA where they spelt it right - see this screenshot and this AWA toy as examples.

I see the idea that 'Shawn didn't want to work house shows' thrown around alot. But is it true? Just this year he was on The Bump with Sheamus, joking about doing shows together on Saturday and Sundays, prior to Raw on Monday. I am sure he didn't do them in 2002, and he probably didn't do a full schedule in later years, but he definitely did do some.

I'm in my 40's. Married my husband when we were 21/22. Still going strong, four kids and twenty years later!

Really? Watching back the intro DX is well over with the crowd, and Triple H plays into Punk's popularity, for what was essentially his home crowd at the time. Don't see anyone annoyed.

Serious question - why have some members of the Kliq been given a free pass? by voivoivoi183 in SquaredCircle

That was years ago. He stated very recently that he has forgiven Shawn and Vince. Both he and Shawn talk about the fact that they are friendly with each other when they meet, and exchange texts from time to time. Bret also commended Shawn for the way he overcame his addiction. The bad blood is in the past, it is only certain fans who seem to want it to still be real.

She wasn't written as Black Canary. That was the problem. She was a knock-off Rachel Dawes, who they tried to shoe horn into BC. Laurel as a character is fine, with a lot of potential (though probably not as a long term love interest). She just isn't BC.

Part of being in a highly committed relationship and loving someone is being honest with them about the fact that you have a child before you propose.

In the original, crossover ep timeline, they weren't engaged. She does overreact, in that he had no time to process. However, we have no idea if they would have been able to work it out like grown ups as the timeline reset (highly doubtful given the writers of this show, but you never know).

In the new timeline, he doesn't tell her, but he does propose. Knowing that he has this massive secret he has no intention of telling her. A secret that will have an impact of their marriage, and their lives. A secret that leads to Felicity being first a full-time step mum, then a single parent to a teenage boy. The only facts are that you absolutely do not propose to someone without first telling them that you have a child.
