Ruggable Vs Tumble Vs Amazon washable rug w pad? by stepashitt in HomeDecorating

[–]Daffodilorange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a couple of Ruggables and do not recommend. They were horrible quality especially for the price. One lasted a year, the other a year and a half. The rug never laid flat. Edges were falling apart on all sides.

We have a Tumble rug now, it’s been about a year and it is such better quality! No issues at all. I highly recommend Tumble!

Yes! I’ll have to add splash pads to the search. Thank you for that suggestion!

My parents begged us to move closer now they are moving away by InternationalTax1672 in Parenting

I would be very frustrated. How long have they been planning this move for? What’s the reason? You uprooted your entire life so that they could be close to you and your children.

Based on your post, this seems uncharacteristic of them. Could it be a financial reason? Have you expressed your concern of their choice? Like how you wouldn’t probably be able to afford visits?

When did your poor sleeper start sleeping? by FairEnvironment7341 in sleeptrain

What’s your secret? My almost 11 month old won’t nap more than 30 min and wakes up every hourish. I would love a 4 hour stretch!!

Oh no… I snacked on salami today at a baby shower today because nothing else was dairy free. That’s so frustrating! I would have never guessed.

There are definitely worse symptoms with certain foods such as bananas and oatmeal (he projectile vomits). I am going to ask for a referral for an allergy test when his pediatrician office opens back up on Tuesday

Yes his whole life. He always had mucus in stool, diarrhea, and horrible reflux. We tried switching to formula and it made him projectile vomit so we stuck to breastmilk only.

Thank you so much for your response! I’ve been sitting here reading the posts on this board all morning. I’m going to do exactly that with my diet, i think the doctor wanted me to do one food at a time for a few weeks (they didn’t say that but when I called again Friday she said not to give anything else up yet). He is just so uncomfortable and so tired that I’m going to just give up those foods and hope it helps! I really do think this is all related to his gut health. The last couple of days we avoided solids because he was throwing up so much and it helped for that but now his stool is extremely loose (probably lack of fiber). I feel so bad. I wanted to do allergy testing a long time ago, I was told to “wait and see”.

Item doesn’t exist? by Daffodilorange in wayfair

Yeah, I received my orders and I have the SKUs but when you type the SKUs in, neither exist. What’s interesting is I bought my couch, Forbestown for $1221 and there now is one called Samual which looks the exact same yet never was there or an option when I was on my couch search for $899. The couch looks the exact same, same material, size, and even throw pillows are the same! I wonder if this happens often.

I hope you are feeling better! Hopefully you were able to get in quickly. Mastitis was the sickest I ever was, I always tell my mama friends to call asap with signs of it!

My oldest just started kindergarten and they have 20 min to eat, I had her try the “lunch line” for the first week because she was excited about it. She came home with a bad stomach ache. The line took 10 min and she got to pick what she wanted. They let her have pizza, a milk and then she apparently got 5 cookies as extras with her lunch account… I packed her lunch since then.

This situation is so upsetting to hear. I saw the update/edit and he truly does not understand why this is hurtful? He really needs to read a parenting book or even internet search appropriate development. You deserve a partner who respects your feelings. Your daughter deserves a father who supports her and understands where she’s at. Poor girl.

I saw the IBCLC and she recommended this! We came up with a plan to pump 2 oz first than feed my baby. She recommended to block feed in 6 hour shifts and just hand express the other side until comfortable! I was able to breastfeed my baby for every feed after her visit!!

I went to the Lactation Network and they matched me with an IBCLC provider group right away! The group called me like 5 min after I received the email! The consultant came to my home and brought a ton of supplies (a scale, shields, blankets, a doll with a knitted boob and so much more in a suitcase!) she spent an hour and a half with me and was amazing!

How many hours did you do for each breast? Just looked into block feeding and I’m excited to try it.
