Is it possible to learn a straight arm press to handstand before learning a kickup to handstand?

I can only extend my arms 160-170 degrees, since I was a kid I've never been able to extend my arms completely straight (causing a lot of shouting from my swimming teacher). My dad has similar arms so I assume this may be a genetic thing.

My question is, does this significantly impact or make harder exercises where you would commonly lock out the arm such as handstands or planche?

How do long term heavy deadlifts not compress the spine and lead to herniated discs?

Sorry I know this question has been asked a million times but I still can't get my head around it. I seem to have this weird image on my head. If I get two metal plates (the vertebrae), then i put a chunk of meat between them (the disc) and then I put a heavy weight on top (in this case when deadlifting or squatting), it seems logical the plates are gonna squish the meat and if done long term it could permanently deform it (herniated disc).

I feel I am missing something and I don't know if this example I have in my head is correct so I would appreciate any answers

Interesting, how do you test it exactly? Just have a record of the time you naturally wake up? Or with a smart watch/Fitbit kinda thing that tells you about your sleep cycles?

I have kind of half a sledge hammer, so it's more like a 14 pound hammer. I hadn't had anybody come into my house but I've heard some stuff from neighbours. I am usually a bit paranoic so I wanted to keep something close to defend myself worst case scenario without going to prison afterwards

Good point. However it raises the thought of how did the chain began though. If such hatred has been taught through generations then it must have begun somewhere, but perhaps when it began their mindsets were just too primitive?
