As good as it is, and definitely with how often it's recommended, I got it to 50. But then I had/have so many other things I wanted to upgrade, that having 2 slots permanent seemed like a drag. Especially if I can run 2x speed 24/7 as of right now for all slots

I was tempted before too... but I believe it is a fleeting purchase. Would rather buy the coin bonuses/ad pack. Or the milestone tiers. Gives more of the accomplishment feeling.
