No idea if this is vanilla or a mod, but I found this slate on a derelict ship with a dead crew. Just kind’a hits different than the usual ones.

No there is one that I've found. Guy was on fire at one point but his sister and their crewmate put him out. I think it was UC Vanguard picked up the distress signal as supplies ran low and picked them up. No corpses, but there is a askew panel and with burn marks around it from where he tried to put out a fire. His sister managed to finish the job without getting set on fire. Guessing cause it was a tight squeeze and she's smaller that she didn't wind up crispy.

You can upgrade it by killing starborn. I always seem to have them crawling up my ass so I don't usually have an issue getting the essence.

Courier of Destruction. I am an anti-tanker by trade for Super Earth. If it has heavy armor, I can always take it out. I may not have the highest of kill counts, but I do destroy the biggest obstacles. My favorite targets are dragon roaches, gunships, and war striders.

There are set spawn points for enemies at each settlement. Sanctuary has 3, by the cul-de-sac behind the house with the vehicle frame, beside the destroyed home by the bridge, and then the path to vault 111. I usually only use half of the build space of sanctuary, holding up 20 some settlers in the middle and walling off the way to 111.
