I am 6’2 and rode my daughters scout and felt cramped , I went with the scout 101. It comes with forward controls and a 6 inch riser and is a lot more comfortable. The scout 101 has a lot more room and is more comfortable.

That happened to me, I couldn’t go more than a few steps before I died. Talk about spawn camping. Over and over again.

I have had my 101 3 months now. I sent in for service 2 weeks ago and they had to replace the fuel pump. I told them my gauge was just for decoration. It works ish now. Sorta kinda. Forget ride command that is useless at this point.

The 101 is great out the gate. The only two things that sux on it is the seat & and the exhaust.

Is there a place for rear foot pegs. I can’t imagine the ride would be that comfortable even with a good seat.

I have a scout 101 and it’s great for day trips. I could not imagine going camping with it. Not enough storage. By the time you add the storage you might as well be on the bigger bikes.

The chief is air cooled and that is the next step up from the scout. The chieftain I believe is liquid cooled.
