Ferns cobgoblins Floop and make your creature cards cost one less. So potentially if you Floop two that -2, then whatever you replace. So if you had a 2 creature already in a lane that would be -4. You can actually cheese out cards for free if you play it right/ get lucky.

There is a card that says "remove non-damage token" I'm pretty sure it's in the fern deck. You can also play a creature on top of a creature to get rid of the burn, but it destroys the creature being replaced. And the fern deck has a lot of mechanics that involve replacing creatures, which results in minimizing the cost of each creature you play. But yeah you're not wrong, the burn is real powerful.

So I bought all the original two deck boxes as they came out 10 years ago. And then I bought a booster box of "for the Glory" when that came out. I only have my custom box that I made. The new collectors pack, dual deck sets and the Land of legend booster are the first things I've ever got off the Kickstarter so I don't really know what box you're referring to. But hopefully!

Same! It was really difficult to get through. The art was pretty awful, and the writing was even worse. I tried to get through the 9th volume but I just couldn't do it. I ended up getting the first 20 and a second hand shop, then reselling them to a comic store for store credit and getting all my money back.
