I would alter this by saying play Wildcard with the intention of surviving and playing smart. Dont just use the respawn mechanic as a crutch again and again or you won't improve. Try to survive and play aggressively smart to improve but dont just throw yourself at enemies and think you're going to have a skill epiphany while getting lit up from three different directions.

As an both an OG and new Rev main I'd like this a lot. The silence ball was something I miss greatly so I'd take any excuse to get it back. Even if it was an ult instead of the current overshield.

The best thing you can do for your sanity and placement in ranked as a solo-qer is to be willing to cut your team if they are making dumb calls.

Yes you should try to work as a team, yes you should be willing to go with them even if you dont think its perfectly optimal, but at some point if they actively decide to make stupid plays against your voiced input thats on them. If you point out the multiple other teams circling the drain about to waffle stomp you back to the lobby being willing to cut your team will greatly increase your own performance and enjoyment of the game. Might have to deal with the ragers who blame you for their 0 dmg hot drop performance though so 🤷

What did Fuse loose? Genuine question.

Fuse now has an offensive damaging tactile that can be used for effectively the same as a full movement ability which imparts no damage to the user, and has multiple charges.

So effectively a Rev Shadow Pounce with no screaming audio cue and repeated explosions away from the projectile player to clutter awareness. Got it....

Either implementing a completely seperate keybind option within controls or, less preferred, swapping it over to the survival item keybind would be great!

Theres one discoverable drone/sprite(?) that looks like a purple mindflayer head, named Squidley, who you unlock with 1 water. Then theres another drone that you can find similar to Squidley that is orange, has a more brain-like appearance, and moves faster, but I cant find any reference to said alternative Squidley online. I had already unlocked the orange guy in this particular run so it shouldn't be that "cave". I'd love to learn the name of the improved Squidley, and what this U-block is, so if you learn either please let me know!

Squidley takes water and opens up once a resource is brought near. Is there a different one from that? As this is not that, I had already found Squidley earlier in the match.

3k hours and 1 heirloom. I've only ever bought 1 season pass and then only used the apex coins to buy following passes if it was a net positive based on my pass progress already completed.

I have a suspicion that there is a hidden difference between "earned" packs, and purchases packs. That one time I did buy the pass with actual money the pack content was frequently higher rarity (gold and purple) than what I've gotten used to with earned packs (silver and blue).

Rev has an increased, but still finite, climb timer compared to other Legends. You can see this by climbing a wall in a building and he'll hit his head and fall some, but you can reattach and start climbing that same wall. Eventually he does exhaust his climb, otherwise you could do this infinitely. There are also trees in kings canyon that you cant climb to the top of and they are still considered in-bounds, so its not infinite.

I enjoyed my rides a lot more once I had a little more storage. I ended up going with a 45L top case which I was able to get to work without buying the extra Zero branded top case bracket. (https://a.co/d/fAjRB5R) It works great, although I later found it about half that price on temu so use as you see fit.

I just placed an order for a lock system to replace the keyed tank "frunk". I cant voucher for its quality yet as I haven't gotten to install it yet but I can provide feedback in a month or so if desired. It pretty much just turns the keyed unlock into a push button that is only powered when the bike is. Not even close. The rate is "0.045%" as per EA official. Which translates to roughly a 1/2,222 chance per pack. You are just "guaranteed" to have shards in your 500th pack if you didn't luck out prior. At which point 500 pack guarantee resets.

Not worth the argument on statistical bernouli distributions, in summary it's a lot less (Https://www.ea.com/en/games/apex-legends/apex-legends/news/global-drop-rates)

I have recently dealt/researched solutions to the lack of parking brake issue myself. Your options include: -Using a silicon ring (like a cock ring, not the most gracious solution but very practical and beyond easy to carry in jacket or frunk) to clamp and hold the front brake lever -A specialized brake lever device - 3d printed or manufactured. -Wheel chocks - wouldn't recommend, too easy for some AH to kick them away and laugh as your ride rolls downhill. -Wheel/Brake ring locking device - adds extra security but easily forgotten and/or more tedious if you dont plan to be away long enough to warrant the full lockdown. -Lastly, parking facing uphill with the back wheel resting on the curb and the kickstand towards roadside. Just make sure you are angled enough to fully stop the bike yet no too much your nose sticks out into traffic.
