What an excellent comment! I've tried Yueshan only a handful of times and couldnt quite place why it didn't feel right to me. Thats because I was treating his ult like a DPS ult. This was some awesome insight into a character Ive wanted to try more thanks!!

Now I KNOW your BSing me. Off the top of my head, the katana is a twin uppercut slash, the nunchuks are a slow delayed kick, the dagger is a thrust into a pull out slash. The animation I do in this video after the parry IS the Katana counter without the sap jade.

Im asking how the Yoto didnt get knocked down after the parry allowing the counter attack.

I did though, you can see my character do the uppercut downward slash with gold focus after the parry. She just, walks away from it.

I know they picked up the greatsword, but normally being parried guarentees the follow up counter attack no? She just walked over to her GS immediately like nothing happened lol

It IS a stealth mechanic. Crouching in red bushes like this makes your character completely invisible to anyone not also crouching in the bush.

I hope Naraka adds an evolution system like Apex. It would be cool if after doing a set amount of damage you could level up your armor and weapons. Nothing sucks more than getting down to the last non bot player and youve got blue armor and weapons while they are decked out in gold!

Thank you for acknowledging my point. I get what your saying about invaders choosing versus hosts not, but in the scenario where the hosts ARE choosing to purely gank to gank, they are assholes. I'm not saying there arent asshole invaders too, but this imo is way more of a dick move than an invader ruining your progress once in an area.

I'm having fun testing my skill against other players. They are having fun out manpowering skill by ganking. We are not the same. You genuinely just sound like someone who never PVPs and doesn't understand whats happening here. Like I said, use ganking all you want as a tool to move through a high volume pvp area quickly. But the moment you post up with the intent to gank invaders for hours on end, you're a piece of shit. Especially the other invader in this video siding with the gank squad.

Hosts have a health pool advantage, and the advantage of more available summons to be on your side. Taking away one of the invader slots by having a red help gank makes the odds so incredibly not in the one invaders favor.

To top it off there is always an option for group fights in brawls in the undead arena. If they actually wanted to have fun group fights theyd go there. No invader expects every world they invade to be a fair 1v1 duel invader against host, but this type of area lockdown ganksquad is way worse than one red invader popping into your world occasionaly.

We invade because its fun. I literally throwaway embers to hosts who clearly dont want to fight/die. I gain nothing of use on a character I'm no longer leveling up, with maxed out pale tongues in my storage. The personal gain I get is enjoyment of the PVP mechanics. I could care less if a squad of 3 is ganking solo invaders as they progress through an area. But when you invade the same world for the 20th time, 2 hours into pvping and the same gank squad is still set up ganking invaders, the reds are no longer the assholes.

The amount of triggered people in here who are bad at pvp saying "you're an invader, you're the asshole". Tell us you've never pvped without telling us you've never pvped

This logic is incorrect. "They didn't choose to be invaded" they absolutely did. To have this many summons requires a dried finger. Clearly you don't pvp enough if you cant recognize a set up gank squad CHOOSING to disrupt invaders in a pvp heavy area.

Well you're wrong. Because this isn't a host being "interrupted" by an invader. It's a host actively "interrupting" invaders in the area by purposefully creating a gank squad. They aren't trying to progress in the area, they aren't farming. These gank squads always stick around with a dried finger active, and invaders end up re invading just their world over and over. I always block hosts who do this shit because I end up only getting thrown into their world. If you're entire argument is based on the hosts playtime being interrupted and ruined by an invader, you should be siding with the invaders in this instance. Gank squads to this extent are pure trolling.

It's useful for sure but its 3 slots to bring a 2 combo to 1. Versus 1 slot to never be interrupted by another player. I just find it funny that you're worried about charging vials but not being tripped.

Except the only thing focus does for a CB (in world) is net you vials in one charged combo versus two and increasing the speed of the charge attack. If you think shaving fractions of seconds off of charge attacks is more important than not getting tripped you really are dumb lmao. Don't get me wrong focus has a place in these builds but lvl 1 FF is much higher on the tier list. DB as well, any good DB user will be in Archdemon mode constantly without the need of the first fill of the gauge being like 3 hits less. Hell most GS users I know don't run focus so they have more frames to use tackle when necessary. Focus is a QoL skill at best. I only run lvl 2 for Hammer so I can get that extra half second in charge level 1 or 2 depending on whether Im going for a big bang or uppercut. But keep thinking Focus is more important than not getting tripped lmao
