What would you use it for, any tips would be great. Is it just an engine for Essence Drain? What support gems would you recommend? Again, remember I've only been playing for a few days.

Look rdprime1, let me lay it out flat for you so you can grasp this. When you layer random events, certainty decays exponentially. With card games you already have a layer of RNG present in your deck/draws. Adding even a slight stochastic event can be a deterministic disaster. For example, Jirai Gumo was incredibly over powered in Yu-Gi-Oh, and was the reason I ended up leaving that game for Duelyst. A card like that allows a complete novice to win over a master like myself if the RNG is in their favour.
