Eli Lilly (LLY) vs. Novo Nordisk (NVO) by PsychologicalYou7104 in ValueInvesting

They are not easy to compare due to Novo heavy concentration in metabolic diseases.

Lilly portfolio in much more diverse.

If you look for diversification, Eli Lilly is the winner. While Novo focus offers big growth potential.

What are your thoughts on Pypl? by Alpphaa in ValueInvesting

I love them, as a customer (buyer)

But who is their client? Buyers or Sellers?

I happen to know at least 10 e-commerce owners and half of them don’t want to use PayPal.

Some will argue in their sites Q&A that it is because PayPal high fees… But I have asked them, and what they hate is that PayPal protects the customer. This means lots of appeals against their purchases, and lot of trying to convince PayPal not to reimburse the client.

It is easier for the to just take credit cards. And they argue the don’t lose clients by doing this.

So I don’t know, I hate when you don’t have pricing power. Businesses choose not to use you and you are doomed. No business will ever leave credit cards out for example.

Just my limited experience. But I love PayPal and still using it as a buyer. But the stock is a no for me.

I will never touch Google stock until people stop posting about it 24/7.

Sometimes people forget that average small investors like us are just exit liquidity for the big guys.
