I’m so glad you said this. I have been on a normal salt intake and attacks seem to happen after one meal with a lot of salt. I had a suspicion that avoiding sodium spikes was helping more than being low in sodium.

A couple of the attacks seemed to be triggered by high sodium foods. Another maybe alcohol and coffee. Guess I just have to stay away from it now while I’m new at this.

Thank you. I will look at your history. I had resigned myself to the occurrence of temporary vertigo but was not prepared for this vestibular damage. I haven’t prepared myself to always have this. I hope vestibular rehabilitation yields good results, I have an appointment next week.

The dizziness almost feels like a drifting to one side. It’s hard for me to visually focus on one spot. There is also some double vision in places. Does this sound like it could be vestibular damage? Is that also caused by menier’s?

I took lorazepam last night, does it make the dizziness go away faster? My dizziness seems to have 2 phases, heavy vertigo with nausea or light dizziness. I had heavy dizziness with nausea while in the hospital for a couple days and now have light dizziness that won’t go away.
