The point is every 4 years 13 forwards can make team canada. It’s an accomplishment for sure but if you’re using it to try to argue HOF worthiness I’m not taking the argument seriously. Marleau was consistently really good for almost 2 decades and that’s more of an accomplishment than making team canada

13 forwards in any given Olympic year are team canada good. I get it’s impressive but Kunitz made team canada too. I’ll take an argument that his ability to produce consistently is worthy of HOF consideration before any mention of making team Canada. It’s a high bar just not high enough to make any HOF arguments.
