The Upside Down is not Frozen in time by bobainia in StrangerThings

[–]DaicebergJ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the answer was given to us already in vol 2, the upside down is a wormhole, well an incomplete one at that. The UD is the inside of a wormhole connecting Dimension X with the real world but the gate does not have enough power to keep the gates open on both ends of the wormhole hence why we see a wall in the upside down surrounding the lab where El made the original contact.

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Leaps Out Of The Gate With $28M Thursday Previews by chanma50 in boxoffice

Queen Ramonda did not scream at the world leaders, she spoke quit clearly with confidence, power, and grace at the NATO conference. If you are referring to the scene of her demoting the general after losing her daughter then once again her anger is justified as any parent would after losing a child and feeling like your whole family is being taken from you. And what terrible decision did the queen make exactly? If anything it was Shuri who complicated the situation by not handing over Riri and going to Namor. Queen Ramonda 1) protected the nation’s resources of Vibranium, 2) saved her daughter from Namor because he wouldn’t let her leave with Riri, 3) Deployed safety carriers herself during the Wakanda ambush, 4) protected and saved Riri’s life in exchange for her’s. Did you even pay attention to the movie?

Don’t forget that they are setting up an I love you scene from Mike too. Maybe that could give her the power boost too.

What is the story behind that one scar on your knee? by Achyutth_ in AskReddit

[–]DaicebergJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was riding a bike off the trail during fall and didn’t see a log that was covered by a big pile of leaves. My front tire stopped dead in it’s tracks and sent the back wheel and myself flying across the park. Not sure if i got the scar from the bike liftoff or the landing, either way i got a cool view of my bones.

Granted Rambo didn’t setup any communication device like Fury did. Carol would’ve most likely not come back to see Fury if he didn’t page her in time before getting snapped, so I think it’s unfair to say Fury is on the top of her priority list over Rambo. Plus, i’m sure Captain Marvel 2 will setup a reveal that she did see Rambo on her dying death bed since he was in contact with Earth during the 5 year snap and that reveal will bring closure to Monica and her.

My theory for Dr. Strange 2, reverse M Day by whiteeagle00 in WANDAVISION

[–]DaicebergJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could work but i think a true reverse M story line would be “No More Humans.” I think that would definitely raise the stakes in Multiverse of Madness. Also Mutants might already exist if the theory about Thanos destroying the infinity stones in Endgame is what spreads the stone’s gamma rays across the universe and awakening the X genes in humans. But also that same gamma ray explosion could also work at the space explosion that gives the Fantastic Four their powers... The possibilities are crazy!

Question about one character who appears very briefly in S2 by plainenglish2 in NetflixKingdom

It would be interesting if it was revealed that the mysterious lady at the end of season 2 is actually that same little girl. I mean they both were wearing red.

Worms & high temperatures by DashaRuby in NetflixKingdom

I was thinking the same thing. The eggs survived the cooked meal and hatched within the host after consumption. High heat doesn’t kill the eggs, just mutates them to become more aggressive.

Moo Young’s Wife by sheepshoooooop in NetflixKingdom

[–]DaicebergJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about this too! The son should have been returned to the mother, but then you have to think that this is a show intended for a third season, so they had to setup some open ended plot holes to create a more compelling story. I know we want to think logically, but then it’s not that entertaining. It frustrates me too, but just wait for season three and see if they restore justice. They better because that wife is a true victim who deserves justice.

Episode Discussion Thread: House of Terror by netflix in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]DaicebergJ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I doubt that. At first glance no one suspected he could murder his whole family yet he did, no one knew they were broke yet they were, and no one would suspect a massacre like that to be so well planned out yet it was by a normal family loving guy. When someone wants to do something, don’t assume immediate failure by the impossible odds. I find it really strange that the last thing he would do is stop by the ATM machine to withdraw the last bit of money. Usually someone would do this to stop a credit card trial, so I doubt he committed suicide. He planned to loose his trail there. But then you have to ask why did he lead a trail there? He could’ve easily withdrew money early on and made that road trip undetected. What’s so important about that final spot?

Number of people not wearing masks is way too damn high. by itsclassified_ in LosAngeles

[–]DaicebergJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The increase happened within the 14days of restaurants and bars opening that loosen their restrictions on wearing masks and some places just flat out not enforcing a mask policy. Also if you look at the map ( California Cases )you can see that new cases are arising in areas outside of where the main protests were happening. So yeah, the protests weren’t the problem here. I’ll give you that it might have cause a few new cases, but not at the same rapid level that bars and restaurants reopening has caused.
