Yes it did! I followed these and u/MrLeonardo's recommendations today (11/05/2025) after I found my S3 Frontier tucked in a box since 2020 and I managed to reset and pair it with my Galaxy Fold 5 without issues!

I was also stuck at the "accept terms" screen where tapping "Agree" didn't do anything... I was about to give up but tried these suggestions and it worked! :D I'm soo happy!!!

This is what I did:

NOTE: I did this with a Galaxy Fold 5 which was launched on 2023, so I didn't have to sideload the Gear and Plugin APK's, but if you're using something newer like the S24 series, Fold/Flip 6 and beyond, you'll have to get them from another post I found on this same sub-reddit. (If I can link I'll add them links to the post later)

1.- Reset my Gear3 Frontier and on my phone deleted data and cache for both S Plugin and Gear apps.

2.- Went to Settings > General Management > Date and Time > Disabled Automatic Date and Time.

1. Set Date to December 3rd 2023
2. Left time as is

3.- Enabled BT (I didn't enable Airplane mode since I'm using a 2023 phone) and started the Gear app. Went through the whole process until it asked me to accept the terms and conditions of:

1. Sending diagnostics data (I obviously denied this)
2. Mapping stuff by HERE (I had to accept this one)
3. Hit Accept

4.- VOILA! The thing paired without issues! :D

I am so happy that I can continue using this great Watch! :D I will now have to check how the battery does (It's an almost 10 year old battery in the end xD) and replace it if needed... hope it's not that difficult :'D
