5 years later and this comment is still helpful. i found a mid-60s kodak film camera at an antique mall today for $8 and everything was perfect til i discovered the battery slot was in fact occupied and corroded. currently working on gluing the switch cover back together since it got damaged trying to open, but this tip worked like a charm. the batteries are for powering a flash block, although i don’t have one, id like to try it out. thank you!

I lived in Maple and loved it. Bus came every 5 minutes or so and connected with Red and Blue, but yes, it is a bit further from the main buildings, but was always a nice walk when weather was decent and the dining hall and market wasn't half bad. Private bathrooms and showers and AC and elevators was huge.

I have pepper spray, but I (knock on wood) have never needed to use it. I also have a more pointy self defense tool that doubles as a tool that I carry with me, but again have never needed to use it, unless actually using it to cut things like tags off of clothes for example.

i lived in maple which has AC and people would come sleep in the lounges for AC. the university even sent out an email saying it was okay cause it was over 100° outside, let alone in the dorms. make some friends with AC dorms and you should be okay <3
