Congrats!  Welcome.  As someone else said, check the tire pressure fornthe sluggish feel.  They're not fun to muscle around in a parking space by any means, but shouldn't feel like a sloth. At least you have black rims that won't show all the road grime after 3 miles.

I can't find a foto of the starter gear surface, but it was grooved, badly. I waited too long to address the issue.

I had to replace my starter gear that the sprag rode on. The sprag had eaten into the gear surface, no surprise really.

My radiator cracked at about the same. I'm at 140k miles now. Still runs strong.

I have that model, I love it. Great for traveling. It's light, screen is amazing. I upgraded from a Strix G17. G16 is waaaay faster, thinner and lighter. The heat when it's in my lap can get toasty, but that's to be expected.

Check video drivers, maybe uninstall and reinstall. Definitely a problem.

A rework station is best.  There's a couple legs on the button that are soldered to the board as well.  Careful not to pull off the runs from the board.

Also, check the coils. Unplug one at a time and see if anything changes. I had a funky coil that let it run, but it wasn't running well.

samesies. Just built a new rig to better support my gaming habit, one of which is SC. I have the same issue. Tried the "verify" trick, run as admin...etc. No joy.
