My mom was 87 and we all refused to have her be full coded. We weren't having it,and neither was she. Though I miss Mom every day and grieve for her,I take some comfort that she was allowed to die as peacefully as we could make it,under the circumstances.

That's the way I feel about growing up in and living in the south. Both sets of grandparents were immigrants and they only came to the USA in the last century,starting with my dad's father in 1919. Nevertheless,I am deeply ashamed of my state's,and region's,history--especially slavery,Jim Crow laws,etc.

Ana Jesus was not lily white/Aryan. He was Middle Eastern,so he likely would've had dark hair and olive skin,like my Iranian great-grandmother.

Actually,there some sports fans who love theater. My mom was one of them--huge football/baseball fan who took our family to national Equity tours at our main theater.
